The New Mars Company is the dominant trading and logistics company in the solar system. It has obtained nearly a complete monopoly, relying heavily on its partnership with the Outer Rim Rare Resources (OR3) company. 

Founded after the disolution of the Mercantile Guild of Mars (MGM), The NMC has cemented itself in all aspects of interstellar life by forming alliances with every non-competiting company possible.

The NMC relies predominantly on temporary contract labor to keep personel costs at a minimum. 72% of all NMC contracters have been in renewed contracts for upwards of 5+ years.
